About MariabCo
MariabCo began as a hobby, bringing together the things I loved most from Mexico: Talavera ceramics, leather bags, and jewelry. Their colors, materials, and thoughtful details inspired me to share them—and the work of the artisans behind them—with more people.

María is my middle name. Bearing the name of the Virgin Mary has always been meaningful to me and my faith. Today, my daughter also carries the name María, making that connection even more special.
MariabCo brings together my culture, my faith, and my love for my daughter. I hope that one day she will see what I started and, if she wishes, continue it in her own way.
Working with Mexican artisans
I select pieces and collaborate with Mexican artisans to develop new designs. Sometimes an idea begins with me; sometimes it grows through our work together. I also help customers develop ideas for personalized event mugs, working with the artisans to find the best way to bring them to life.
Each type of product involves different materials and techniques. What connects them is the time, knowledge, and attention devoted to making them by hand.
